  1. I really enjoyed the two books I read from this month Book Club.

    1. Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah

The charaters were believable and not without tragic. We can never really know someone without dwelling into their past. I'm sure my mother would have some deep and dark secrets there that would have make her the person she is....as I suppose we all do. The book will take you back in time and to the present and you will thank your lucky stars that if you were born in a free country you would thank yourself lucky. A good read but beware keep the tissues handy.

    2. The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd

The charaters were funny and entertaining but yet again we find the racial aspect coming into it again. My heart went out to the mother again which as usual always affects the offspring. The tragady is for the daughter to bear in this book and I would have liked to had a sequel of this book just to see what sort of a woman she turned out to be....is there one out there does anyone know. Enjoyable read.
    Kate.
